Dow Corning ® Contractors Weatherproofing Sealant (CWS) is a one-part, moisture cure, medium modulus sealant that provides durable, flexible, watertight joints and offers outstanding unprimed adhesion to most non-porous substrates. It is specifically developed for sealing dynamically moving joints. Adhesion to aluminum, stone, vinyl, acrylic, and polycarbonate. Primer required for certain odd substrates. This unique, weather-resistant CWS formulation is ideal to withstand adverse conditions, including moisture, movement, sheer and deflection, in common installations. The CWS is easily gunnable in all weather conditions from -20 to 120°F (-29 to 49°C). Because the CWS requires no mixing and a smaller joint thickness requirement, it is an economical, high-performance alternative to other sealant options with a ±25 to ±40 percent movement capability. CWS is available in 20 standard colors, 50 made-to-order special colors through Dow Corning’s Color It Right program with a virtually unlimited palette of custom colors.
