Novaflex Metal Roof Sealant adheres to lap joints, pipe boots, trim, copper, metal siding, metal roof, PVC, snow guards, single-ply, gutters, aluminum, stuccom, roof flashing, downspouts, roof tile, and termination bars. It adheres to Kynar coated metals as well and has excellent adhesion and flexibility. VOC Compliant and mildew resistent. Application temperature of -20ºF to +120ºF. Freeze thaw stable. Service temperature of -40ºF to +400ºF. Invisible to UV light. Tack free in 10 minutes. Completely cured in up to 2 days.
Recommended for sealing and bonding around wood, metal roof, aluminum, metal siding, trim, masonry, steel, gutters, downspouts, flashing, and PVC.
Not recommended for surface temperature below 0ºF or exceeding 120ºF during installation, surfaces continuously immersed in water, building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents that may affect adhesion, frost-laden or wet surfaces, completely confined joints or if the sealant is intended to be painted.
